Upcoming events
Tuesday evening intimate yoga
Emma teaches intuitive yoga, encouraging us to let go of what we think we know and to find a new way of moving that brings us back to our beginning: the spine. Inspired by Vanda Scaraveli, this progressive practice is about quality of movement, not quantity, where less is more.
When we do less, we learn to feel more and our body delights in the softness and the opportunity to let go and release as we tune into its relationship with earth and gravity.
Sacred Rest
Join me amongst the trees in front or a fire at the stone circle (or in the greenhouse depending on the weather) to immerse in breath awareness, Yoga Nidra and sound healing (with various singing bowls) to help you rest deeper into yourself and Gaia, recognising the support and love that abounds. The trees, the earth, the new moon and the setting sun will all weave their magic too.
WHEN: Tuesday 14 July (new moon), 6 - 7pm
WHERE: La Niche Vinery, Vazon (directions below)
BRING: Something to lie on, lots of blankets and pillows to be warm and cosy, an open heart and mind.
COST: £15
Directions:
La Niche Vinery is located on La Mare Road in Castel, Guernsey (GY5 7BR)

Follow the track up to the house/grass area where parking is available.
Please come around to the vinery, not the house.
Reiki Level One Attunement Session
During this inspiring, uplifting and light hearted session you will be introduced to the traditional Usui system of Reiki healing, which will support your ongoing healing and personal and spiritual development.
Yoni Yoga for Midsummer
Join us for a special midsummer Yoni Yoga gathering, followed by tea in the garden. This women-only practice offers a nourishing space to gently open the heart and womb, reconnect with inner wisdom, and restore through gentle movement, breath, sound, and deep relaxation.
WHEN: Sunday 19th July, 10 - 11am
WHERE: La Niche Vinery, Vazon (see below for directions)
COST: £15
Please bring a mat (and a cushion & blanket if you wish)
Yoni Yoga is a nourishing, nurturing, restful, healing and transformative practice that encourages a deepening connection between the light in the heart space and the creative energy in the womb space (even if you don’t have a womb there is an energy).
This approach to practice has helped Emma enormously in her life, essentially helping her to come home to a deeper sense of Self and restoring balance to her menstrual cycle, helping her navigate IVF, pregnancy, birth, the post-natal period and into the peri-menopause.
It is an absolute boon for women of all ages. The practice itself incorporates various tantric yoga* techniques including asana (gentle postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), mantras (sound), mudras (hand gestures) and yoga nidra (a guided relaxation). You are encouraged to close your eyes an ego within.
*Please note that classical tantric yoga has its roots going back 1,500 years and is a spiritual practice centred on freedom through daily life and should not be confused with western neotrantra’s emphasis on sexual energy.

Dowsing the Garden
Dowsing the garden to support healing and harmony
Join me to learn how to use dowsing rods to work with your garden to support your healing and personal and spiritual development – your soul path.
The garden – Gaia – wishes you to heal, to experience greater harmony, which you can spread out into the world, and support Gaia on her own journey.
We’ll meet at my folks’ place – La Niche Vinery - on the west coast, to immerse in the land and the trees, as I guide you to a deeper connection with Gaia and to your body and breath.
I will then show you how to dowse for an obstacle in your life, by working with Gaia through the garden. We will then sit in meditation, working with symbolism, to see if you might gain further insight to help you on your soul path.
WHEN: Sunday 2nd August, 11:30am - 12:30pm
WHERE: La Niche Vinery
COST: £15

Song of the Earth
Song of the Earth: An inner journey
Emma invites you to join her at Le Creux ès Faies dolmen just off L’Eree headland, to go on an inner journey to see/hear/feel what the dolmen would like to share with you by rod dowsing* a stone to sit against before enjoying some breathing exercises to centre followed by a guided meditation on the breath and a sound bath with various singing bowls and a magical gong.
The magical builders who built the dolmens and other megalithic structures understood the flow of subtle energy, located its hot spots and applied a combination of geomancy, sacred geometry and earth magic to create spaces, which not only mirror the perfection of the universe but in so doing, influence consciousness.
Dolmens have a womb quality, and are penetrated by the male solar energy at least once a year. The neolithic people were hugely influenced by fertility and union, and as a psychedelic culture worked in symbolism.
Time spent in dolmens is not only healing, but shifts consciousness, we might find our third eye opening, we might vision, but either way, at some point we will imbue wisdom and knowledge, which the stones wish to impart, helping to raise our individual consciousness and positively affecting the consciousness of the whole planet.
*Emma will show you how to dowse for a stone using your own rods (if you have a set) or by borrowing hers. She is also happy to dowse a stone for you if you don’t feel confident doing it yourself, there is no pressure. Please note that this stone will have called you for a reason, because it has something to share/teach you. If you are Reiki attuned then the stone will love to receive Reiki!
WHEN: Sunday 26 July, 7 - 8pm

COST: $15
What to bring:
The floor of the dolmen is made of earth and can get wet if it has been raining so please bring something waterproof, which can get dirty, to sit/lie on. A black sack will work if you are happy to sit for the whole session, if you intend to lie, then maybe a yoga mat that you can wash, or a mat with some black sacks popped under it. Dry robes are ideal!
You might like a blanket and cushion too
Maybe a drink
If you have dowsing rods please bring these.
If you have any crystals you would like to charge then bring these too

Reiki Empowerment by the fire
All are welcome from Reiki Level One students through to Master
For those Reiki attuned (all levels), you are invited to join me in the stone circle (with a fire) or in the greenhouse if the weather is wet. Either way we will be on the Earth and amongst the trees on the eve of the full moon when the moon energy is at its strongest.
We’ll settle in circle and journey through the chakras, before some biodynamic exercises and breathe awareness and a chakra balancing guided relaxation. All can be done sitting or lying.
The Reiki empowerment will follow, which is a bit like an attunement, in that it raises your vibration – turns you up a notch – but much gentler. You won’t go on a 21 day cleanse!
We will finish with Gassho meditation and oracle cards.

A Walk on the Wild Side
A fairy wish…
A walk on the wild side to one of our most famous spots, the Fairy Ring, located at Pleinmont, widely considered to be home to some of the most supernatural happenings on this magical fairy isle.
Local tales speak of fairies and elves who danced here at night, leading to a superstition that walking around the ring three times whilst making a wish would see it granted by the fairies.
Please note that Pouques are the most traditional form of Guernsey fairy, with local folklore portraying them as cunning, dwarfish creatures. It was thought they would attach themselves to people or houses, only becoming visible at night.
Join me to walk along the road to the fairy ring (look out for the seals) where we’ll sit and settle into the space in silent meditation, connecting with the energies of the land, before walking around the circle three times, making a wish and walking the wild way back.
WHEN: Thursday 6 August (half moon) at 7 - 8pm
WHERE: Pleinmont
COST: £15
BRING: Something to sit on, maybe a blanket. A dry robe is ideal.
Reiki Level Two Attunement Session
During this inspiring, transformative and empowering day you will be introduced to three of the four Reiki symbols, including the power symbol, the mental/emotional symbol and the distance healing symbol. You will learn how you may incorporate these symbols into any healing session and into your life generally.
A Silent Half Day Retreat
There is much joy, peace and power in silence yet our society undervalues it, immersing us in noise and distraction instead. It is not only external noise that we may benefit from quietening, however, but internal noise too, all of which can get in the way of us hearing our highest truth.
A day after the new moon, a new cycle begins, we’ll join and practice in silence, beginning with a self-enquiry through our seven main chakras, before an intuitive yoga practice including asana (postures), pranayama (breath awareness) and a short meditation, before finishing with a Yoga Nidra (guided meditation).
There will be an opportunity for quiet contemplation/journalling whatever emerges from the depths of silence.
WHEN: Saturday 12th September, 9:30am - 12:30pm
WHERE: Cobo Community Centre
COST: £60
Wellness Walks
Sunday morning walks to maintain and support wellness

Sunday 13 September - Bathing pools to Fermain
Sunday 4 October - Fermain to Jerbourg
Sunday 25 October - Jerbourg to Moulin Huet
Sunday 15 November - Moulin Huet to Icart
Sunday 13 December - Icart to Petit Bot
Sunday 3 January - Petit Bot to Gouffe
Sunday 31 January - Gouffe to Corbiere
Sunday 21 February - Corbiere to top of Pleinmont
£15 per session - click below to book the first session!
Please wear suitable footwear and clothing. Please bring waterproofs when needed, water and snack.
All walkers must take responsibility for their experience, being realistic about ability to partake safely.
I have always loved walking, not least because I thrive being outside in nature and moving my body, but because it also gives me the headspace to process my life experiences whether in silence or by talking to others and in this way, supporting my mental wellness.
I know only too well what happens when we lose our mental wellness. Having suffered with depression and anxiety, which took me to the very edge of life, I know that our mind can be demonic at times and walking is essential – yoga too – in keeping my mind steady and stable.
Furthermore, trekking up to Everest Base Camp and later undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge where I trekked up Ben Nevis, Scaffel Pike and Snowdonia in 24 hours for charity, also taught me that walking presents obstacles in the way of terrain and weather and can bring us increasingly into the present, strengthening our mind and deepening our positive relationship with ourself in the process.
Of course there are many benefits by way of strengthening the heart and lungs, toning the muscles, being in the present moment, enjoying the healing potential of nature, witnessing the changes in flora and fauna over the seasons, being with like-minded people, releasing endorphins, let alone the enhanced mental wellbeing.

Song of the Earth: An inner journey
The magical builders who built the dolmens and other megalithic structures understood the flow of subtle energy, located its hot spots and applied a combination of geomancy, sacred geometry and earth magic to create spaces, which not only mirror the perfection of the universe but in so doing, influence consciousness.
Essentially, dolmens are like portals, self-help centres, that can not only help to heal us but also imbue wisdom and knowledge and help to raise our individual consciousness so that we positively affect the consciousness of the whole planet.
Emma invites you to join her at La Varde dolmen (which she believes to be a Goddess Temple), on the hill overlooking Pembroke Bay, to go on an inner journey to see/hear/feel what the dolmen would like to share with you by rod dowsing* a stone to sit against before enjoying some breathing exercises to centre followed by a guided meditation on the breath and a sound bath with various singing bowls.
WHEN: Sunday 28 June, 7 - 8pm

Healing the Witch Wound
Does speaking your truth feel deeply unsafe? Does being authentically seen by others feel threatening? Do you dim your own light? Do you find yourself playing small? Do you doubt and diminish your emotions and intuition? Do you often feel like you are “too much” and “not enough” for society? Do you feel as though you have healing qualities but lack the confidence to step into them? Are you drawn to earth energies, plants and nature but don’t have the confidence to work with them?
If any of this applies to you, you may carry the age-old spiritual trauma known as the Witch Wound.
Are you ready to heal?
On Friday 12 June, we will join together at 6pm at the stone circle at my folks’ house, to work with the element of fire to heal the witch wound – the fear, distrust and separation many of us still hold in our DNA.
The fire will burn with a sense of love, forgiveness and remembrance and we will all have the opportunity to scatter rosemary into the flames to remember and honour our ancestors, those who were persecuted, tortured and burned.
As the fire burns down and sitting in sacred circle, we will come together with the intention to heal our individual and collective witch wounds. We will breathe, meditate and write down our deepest fears, which can be burned in the fire.
We will then create our own little healing and manifestation spell, writing down what we would like to bring in, and working with the energy of intent, as well as the energy of nature, and cast forth a new way of being and relating into this world.
There will be the opportunity for herbal tea, sweet treats, chatter and oracle cards.
Just before we leave, we will each have the opportunity to walk clockwise around the circle, encouraging freedom and empowerment while honouring the power of nature.
WHEN: Friday 12 June, 6 - 7pm
WHERE: La Niche Vinery, Vazon (directions below)
BRING: Something to sit on, something that you wear, like an item of jewellery that can be placed in your healing and manifestation bag, some herbs you have collected, a tumblestone which represents more of the energy you wish to bring in, i.e. rose quartz for unconditional love, green aventurine for healing etc.
COST: £15 per person
Weather dependant
What is the witch wound?
The Witch Wound is an inherited, collective trauma that is rooted in the dark history of the witch trials and manifests as a fear of being seen, speaking up, and stepping into your full magic and power.
This was all thanks to a famous book called Malleus Maleficarum,The Hammer of Witches written in 1468 by Heinrich Kramer, an Inquisitor of the Catholic Church and was first published in Germany in 1487 where it circulated Europe before making its way to Britain. Its purpose was to find and essentially flush out women and men who were believed to practice witchcraft and therefore ‘dance with the devil’.
It fuelled a frenzy of fear and suspicion that overwhelmed society for three centuries. Many innocent people were accused of witchcraft, tortured and executed. Those who knew them were forced to testify against them including children, family members and friends - or be tortured themselves.
During this time, tens of thousands of innocent women and men across Europe were imprisoned, tortured, and executed in the most inhuman and brutal of ways: burning, beheading, drowning, hanging.
Some of these victims were healers, midwives, wise women and men, and diviners who served their communities. Others were just people who were too outspoken, too old, too rich, too poor, too beautiful, or too ugly, or in some way a threat to the establishment.
It is fair to say that of them were victims of patriarchy, capitalism and religious tyranny.
Our ancestors who survived these dark times carried the memory of these events not just in their minds, but also in their bodies. Their fear, their grief, their shame, their survival instincts have been passed down through the ages, and now live on in our blood and bones.
This, my friends, is the legacy of the Witch Wound, which exists on a soul and cellular level. Of course it also exists on a societal and cultural level too. Even today, the toxicity of patriarchy, capitalism and religious tyranny lives on, restricting our self-expression – those of us Reiki attuned are not allowed to practice in St martin’s Community Centre, for example, as the land is owned by St Martin’s Church.
Here on Guernsey, anyone convicted of being a witch was burnt alive at the bottom of Tower Hill in St Peter Port. In an 80 year period from 1560 to 1640, 44 people were burnt at the stake and 35 were banished from the island for life. It is said these methods drove many of the witches even further underground and meant the island's sorciers stopped writing down their art.
Is it any wonder that those who were witches in previous lives might stay small and quiet to stay safe? That they might have a fear of speaking their truth and denying the innate healing qualities that they possess?
The trauma lies deep in our DNA, passed down through our ancestors. Even now our children are taught to fear the ‘wicked’ witch, that witches are evil.
But witches are not evil. Witches are those who claim their Earth-blessed birthrights of spirituality and magic, who connect with the cycles of nature, worship the planet, who use herbal remedies for healing and believe in the power of positive energy and intent to create positive change. They are generally intuitive, creative and work with the forces of good, the elements, the moon and the stars to help others and the planet.
Witches are not the ones we should fear. Instead, it might well be the men wielding the torches.
It is time for us witches to stop hiding our magic and reclaim our power. It is time for us - you - to step up and be all of who we - you - are, without the fear of being seen and heard for the gifts we - you - have been granted in this lifetime and the magic that we - you - can experience in your life if only we - you - can heal the witch wound deep inside.

Online class - 3 week series (June)
A weekly class so you can practice live at home or catch up with the recordings to deepen your personal practice. Sessions are intuitive with emphasis on freeing the breath, body and mind, re-awakening the potential of our spine.
Yoga Workshop
A 2.5hr workshop exploring:
Intimate asana practice - to bring greater ease into the body, release habitual movement patterns, free your energy, encourage healing, raise consciousness and allow a more rested state of mind.
Pranayama & meditation - an opportunity for focusing awareness, pranayama is said to be the bridge between the physical practices of yoga and the workings of the mind. Over time, this takes us increasingly towards stillness.

Walking the Sacred Paths
Catrioroc
Ahead of the full moon, and for sunset, we will begin our journey at L’Eree, walking the lanes to the Catrioroc, and settle together in (or out) of the Trepied (a dolmen) for healing and quiet contemplation.
Dolmens are sacred portals for consciousness, expanding our energy field in the process. You may even receive a message from the stones. We will then walk quietly along the shingle bank back to L’Eree.
When: Thursday 28th May, 7:30pm to sunset (9.04pm)
What to bring: Something warm to wear/sit on as the dolmen isn’t covered, a dry robe can be very helpful. Bring dowsing rods so you can dowse a stone to sit against – I will have spare. We might need a torch post-sunset.
Limited to 8 people. Weather dependent. Donation only.
Monthly Vedic chanting
Join Emma to experience the benefits of Vedic chanting with other like minded souls. We will chant mantras to help balance the chakras, remove illness, for ongoing health and vitality, to strengthen faith, to overcome those dark moments, and to promote peace and lightness.

Monday yoga with Grace
Grace has been studying with Emma intensively over the last 18 months, immersing herself in yoga and in Reiki while also undertaking a Yin and Yoga Nidra qualification. Grace is also a Reiki Master offering treatments and a keen sound healer.
The class is Hatha yoga, but is heavily influenced from the Emma’s teachings, rooted in the Scaravelli-inspired approach as well as tantra.
After benefiting so greatly from this practice, she hopes that in sharing hers you may also find healing in freeing the spine, breath & mind.
Yoga Teacher Mentoring Course
For those who have undertaken the Yoga Immersion Course, or those who have already undertaken other yoga teacher training courses and are struggling to get going with teaching, or simply those who wish to further immerse themselves more in practice and deepen their understanding of how yoga might be shared.
Fire Ceremony
Join me in our stone circle, around a fire, on the land at La Niche Vinery, Vazon. Together we’ll sit and listen to nature, before being guided more inwardly with body and breath awareness. We’ll then have the opportunity to write down what we know we no longer want in our life, and burn this on the fire, making room for the new to come in.
We’ll share a tea, a sweet treat and a natter around the fire, with oracle cards, maybe even a Reiki share.
When: Friday 15th May, 6-7pm
Where: La Niche Vinery (see directions below)
Cost: £15
Limited to 15 people. Weather dependent.
Directions:
La Niche Vinery is located on La Mare Road in Castel, Guernsey (GY5 7BR)
Head inland opposite Vazon slipway onto Rue des Goddards, pass Crabby Jack’s on left, and take the first right onto La Mare Road.
Continue past Elim Pentecostal Church, follow the road as it bends left, and find the vinery entrance on the left, there’s a sign.
Follow the track up to the house/grass area where parking is available.

Walk the Labyrinth for Beltane
Join us to walk the labyrinth at Heritage Farm to get closer to the earth and feel into the Beltane energy.
It is an amazing labyrinth with breath taking views, which will likely positively shift your energy field (Emma’s aura doubled walking the labyrinth last year) and help you connect with your truth on a deeper level, and support your healing.
Emma recommends that you walk the labyrinth in silence, maybe taking a few contemplative minutes in the centre, before walking back out and taking a few more minutes to sit and reflect.
Emma will bring her dowsing rods in case anyone wants to dowse their aura before and afterwards so you can see how much the labyrinth changes things - anyone else with rods is welcome to do the same!
Where: Heritage Farm (see directions below)
When: Thursday 7 May, start walking sometime between 5:45 - 6:15pm
Limited to 20 people. Donation only.
Directions:
You take the turning to the left just past Beaucamp School. Then through a sandy area containing old farm implements, where you can park, and then into the field containing the labyrinth.
More details will be sent upon booking.
