Reiki is a healing modality that can be likened to a free flowing river.
This river is like energy flowing easily down through the body. Occasionally a pebble or a rock (human emotions) may fall into that river making the flow of water a little more difficult. Over time this can build up, restricting flow, creating stagnancy, and often manifesting as physical and mental pain.
By receiving Reiki more energy is offered to the body. This extra energy is like a flood that washes down through our rivers removing and dissolving obstacles in its way. In the process, Reiki helps us to understand the root cause of any loss of wellness.
In this way, Reiki not only supports our healing but also our personal and spiritual development.

Private Yoga + Reiki

For those wishing to deepen their yoga practice and healing journey, this is an ideal combination; 30 minutes of yoga tailored for you, to help shift unhelpful movement patterns and ways of being using couple of postures in the process, helping you to open up to something new and take the into your home practice, followed by 30 minutes of Reiki to work this through on all levels of being.

Become Reiki attunedAnyone can learn Reiki! The ability is activated within you by a Reiki Master during an attunement process.
Reiki consists of four levels of training, all of which can be learned with Emma over a period of many months or years.
No one regrets becoming attuned to Reiki - life changes in innumerable positive ways.

Reiki Level One
No prior knowledge or experience required.
In this empowering day session, you’ll become attuned to the Usui system of Reiki energy healing, learn what Reiki is all about, the history of Reiki, the five Reiki principles, and how to channel Reiki to yourself, friends and family and even pets and plants.

Reiki Level Two
Only those who have completed Reiki Level One can undertake Reiki Level Two.
In this transformative session, you will deepen your experience of Reiki as you are introduced to three of the four Reiki symbols. Learn how you may incorporate these symbols into a healing session on yourself or others and into your life generally.

Reiki Master
Only those who have completed Reiki Level Two can become a Reiki Master.
This level is seen as a calling. Becoming a Reiki Master does not make you better, wiser or more enlightened than anyone else. Simply, it means you are devoted to your practice, content to live authentically from your open heart, and leave the rest to Reiki.

Children's Reiki attunement
Children love being able to channel Reiki to themselves, their pets and to other family members. Usually Emma will give Reiki to the child first, before attuning them at the end of the session.
Emma offers the session at £40 per child, which includes an information sheet, a certificate and the option to read an oracle card.

Reiki Master Teacher Training
Not all those who become a Reiki Master will also become teachers, because teaching is not something that can be learned, but is something inherent within us, a gift.
When this natural gift aligns with Reiki, then we will have no choice but to teach it to others, and so we must, whether we ever thought we would or not!

Reiki Level One Online Course
This course is designed so you can undertake your training from the comfort of you own home and at your own pace.
Offered through Udemy, it includes videos, reading and activities. The actual attunement can be done in person for those in Guernsey (it takes 10 minutes) or can be done by distance if preferred.

Reiki house cleaning
Emma is available to clear geopathic stress and balance detrimental energies in the home, garden and environment using Reiki and various other tools and aids. This helps to return the life force to the space, especially if you feel a lingering energy from its past, and to those who live within it.

This is one of the greatest gifts you can give your child, not least a Reiki session to clear energy blocks and restore wholeness, but to attune them to the Reiki energy so that they can give Reiki to themselves and realise that they are more than just a body and a mind - that they have a delightful soul too.

Reiki for cats
Emma and her eldest son, Elijah, love cats and they love giving Reiki to cats. Both are Reiki Masters with lots of experience of giving Reiki to their own Bengal cat, Bazza, and to other family and friend’s cats. They are available for home visits to channel Reiki to your cat(s) for up to 30 minutes.

Reiki and talk online
It might sound ridiculous to pay to talk, but often our friends and family don't see life the same way we do, especially if we are doing the work on ourselves and going through some internal change. Working intuitively, Emma will channel distance Reiki while you talk. Sessions can take place through Skype, Facetime or Zoom.

Reiki and ayurveda
Enjoy a Reiki treatment while simultaneously exploring your Ayurvedic needs. Emma will intuitively feel into your energy blocks, helping gain greater insight into your underlying emotional and mental holding/patterns which might be driving your loss of wellness. You'll be asked to complete a comprehensive questionnaire beforehand.
More on ReikiThe word ‘Reiki’, which is Japanese and pronounced ‘ray-key’, means ‘universal life force energy’. Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this energy, which flows through all living things and is vital to well-being. Known as ‘ki’ in Japan, ‘chi’ in China and ‘prana’ in India, Acupuncture, T’ai chi and Yoga are also based on the free-flow of this energy in a person.
Ki energy can be activated for the purpose of healing. When we feel healthy and full of enthusiasm, the flow of ki energy in our body is high and free. Life feels easier to deal with and we have a higher resistance to illness and disease.
However, when our ki energy is low, because maybe we are under stress or feeling unhappy and tired, we will be more susceptible to disease and sickness, our attitude will be generally negative and we will find it difficult to deal with life’s challenges.

Reiki helps us to get to the root cause of loss of wellness, rather than merely focusing on the symptoms, and induces a sense of deep relaxation in the process, promoting a calm, peaceful sense of well being on all levels.
It also balances the emotions and frees us from restrictive mental attitudes, behaviour patterns and addictions, improving our relationships (including with ourself) and helping to restore wholeness.
Reiki encourages and supports positive personal choices, such as improving diet, taking more exercise, devoting time for rest or leisure activities, and may reduce the need for alcohol and tobacco.

Reiki’s gentle energy is easily adapted to most medical conditions and may be used safely by people of all ages, including the newborn, pregnant mothers, children, surgical patients, the frail and the elderly, in any situation.

A Reiki treatment is non-diagnostic, non-interventionist, non-manipulative and no pressure is applied.
A Reiki treatment usually lasts sixty minutes and is carried out with the recipient lying in a comfortable and peaceful environment. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki energy passes easily through all materials, including plaster casts.
The practitioner places their hands gently on the body. The recipient automatically draws in only as much Reiki as is needed, using it in whatever way is most appropriate at the time.
Reiki may be experienced as a flow of energy, mild tingling, warmth, coolness, other sensations, or nothing at all. Reiki is deeply relaxing and has a profoundly calming effect.

Even one single Reiki session can make a difference; however a course of regular treatments may be more effective. These may be weekly, fortnightly or less often depending on the needs of the individual.
A treatment plan will be discussed with you, and reviewed as necessary. This will always be subject to your own preferences, and can be changed at any time according to progress.

A 60 minute Reiki session for adults costs £75 and includes an oracle card reading (optional) and Emma will also dowse you a Bach flower remedy to support your ongoing healing (optional).
Reiki for children and cats costs £35 for 30 minutes. Reiki to clear your house costs £80 per hour.

Being complementary, Reiki works effectively alongside orthodox healthcare and natural remedies, expanding treatment options.
Reiki can enhance everyday living, and regular sessions may help to promote development of a healthier, more resourceful state of being.
