Good Friday Yoga to celebrate the Full Pink Moon

The Full Pink Moon heralds the appearance of ‘moss pink’, one of the first spring flowers and falls in Libra, the sign of balance.

There is a notion that sometimes you have to shake things up in order to find a better equilibrium. We might think of balance as quiet steadfastness, but in fact balance is in constant motion; a dance. Life is one big dance, requiring flexibility, adjustment and the ability to hold steady and yet allow the movement.

Join me to acknowledge with full respect and gratitude the significance of Good Friday, and at the same time celebrate the energy and light of the full moon and all that this gives to us.

Together we will link breath with movement to flow through a sequence, designed to encourage the dance that is the balance, not too tight, not too loose, creating steadiness as we balance strength and flexibility, and creating a sense of calmness and centeredness in the process. The session will finish with relaxation. Breath awareness will be encouraged throughout.
