A workshop to explore greater authenticity and find your voice.
The throat chakra sits between the head and the heart, between heaven and earth. It is the meeting point between the two higher spiritual chakras and the four lower physical chakras.
It is where we can speak our inner thoughts, blending the inner and the outer, the above with the below - Heaven with Earth. It is an enormously powerful chakra and it is important to keep it in balance so that all of the other chakras are optimised.
When it is brought into balance we discover our authentic voice and can be ourselves in all situations. Our communication is clear and untainted and we can communicate to others with compassion and kindness. while listening to the perspectives of others in an open and positive way. We give our word and are reliable and mean what we say. We can also make commitments to other people and follow a dedicated spiritual path.
We will also have the space to see ourselves clearly and can let the divine wisdom of the universe guide each moment of our life. We may suddenly discover a fresh outlook on what we want to do in life, and a greater connection to our calling and divine gifts in this lifetime. We may also change our priorities and values and feel a literal vocation calling us to an entirely new profession and/or way of life. It is in this way that can sometimes make huge changes in our lives if we instinctively know we should.
An unbalanced throat chakra often means we feel defensive about our ideas and threatened when others have different views. We may be unwilling to voice our ideas at all, preferring to align ourselves to ready-made ideologies. Alternatively, we may never stop talking, but without saying anything important.
Further, an unbalanced throat chakra can leave us anxious and confused, not knowing which direction to take and fearful of taking a new path. Sometimes we can even cling to a person, an idea or a way of life, even though we know it is damaging. An unhealthy throat chakra can also manifest itself in illnesses, such as neck and throat ailments, headaches, teeth and gum conditions, ear infections and mouth ulcers.
Join Emma and Katie to explore your throat chakra, releasing blocks and allowing greater authenticity and self-expression in the process. It might be just what you need to access deeper levels of self and give you the courage and clarity to make positive changes in your life simply by finding your voice.
