Imbolc is one of my favourite festivals because it is the spark that brings the light back into life again and where did it come from? It’s like the inhalation that arises once the exhalation has taken place, like the slither of the new moon after the dark moon has passed, when we have almost given up hope, then hope is given.
This is a time that brings with it the promise of renewal, of hidden potential, of earth awakening and life-force stirring. It is potent in its inspiration, the light that finds its way through the darkness, as we must do during our lives time and time again. Here is hope.
At this time we must let go of our past, of limiting beliefs that hold us back, clearing out the past to make way for the new, both in our outer environment (spring cleaning) and within too. This is also a time for wish-making
Please come and join me for this wonderful turning of the wheel, so we may turn inwards through our yoga practice and see what might be holding us back, any fears lurking in the dark, that prevent us from living a life of purpose, of our potential, so maybe we can make a new wish and dream a new dream, allow more of the light in.
