Yoga to Celebrate the Autumnal Equinox

Here we are at another point of perfect balance on the journey through the wheel of the year, it’s counterpart being the Spring Equinox.  Yet we are also on the cusp of transition as the sun’s power wanes down towards the shortest day and longest night. All around us nature is shifting from the green of summer to the fire of autumn, the reds, oranges and golds. This is a celebration of the fruit and vegetable harvest, and a moment of reaping what we have sown, a time to complete projects and clear out/let go of that which is no longer needed before the descent into winter and its opportunity for reflection and stillness.

We’ll celebrate at class on Monday 21 September 2020 in the upstairs room of St Martin’s Community Centre with an introspective and centering yoga practise with time for relaxation and stillness.

All are welcome. Usual voucher system applies, no need to book.
