A class to celebrate Yule, the winter solstice
I’d love you to join me on the most celebrated of sacred earth celebrations, Yule, the winter solstice. This is the shortest day and longest night of the year, a moment to stop, to pause, to reflect backwards before looking forwards, to consider spiritual insights gained and to remember that something old must die for something new to be reborn; this is a period of rest and darkness, which is essential in the cycle of life.
With candles flickering and atmospheric music playing, we will attempt to still our minds and embrace the inwardly reflective and restful energy of this day to see what insights the darkness may reveal to us in the process. This restful and nourishing class will weave together various yogic tools including breath awareness, gentle asana (postures), mudras (gestures) and Yoga Nidra (deep guided relaxation).
This is a truly wonderful way to embrace sacred earth celebrations and your own true nature.
All welcome, please bring a mat and at least one blanket, maybe a cushion too!
