Happy Samhain and the new beginnings this gifts into our lives. Difficult though currently, with so many planets still retrograde.
Still, we had a fire here last night in Findhorn to make the end of the year, from a Celtic perspective however, and a thought for our ancestors.
Then I woke early and headed out to the beautiful Clava Cairns near Inverness, seeing a shooting star on the way, quite unexpected I had the place to myself, which was just magical as it is such a peaceful spot and the trees are utterly stunning. It took almost an hour for the sun to rise high enough to fill the complex, and it was pretty cold waiting, but work worth it.
Back in Findhorn I saw a deer on the way to the beach and ran in and out of the very cold north sea!
Yoga followed, an intimate group with Louise, as inspiring as ever in her beautiful space in her cottage in the fishing village in Findhorn, just up the the road (or down the road depending on perspective) from the Foundation. I’ve blogged about this place before, but it is heavenly.
And then it a drive out to the absolutely breath taking Cairngorms for the second afternoon running so the boys could go mountain biking - I had to join them today and it was freeeezing. Mind you, autumn brings with it a feast for the eyes, the beech trees especially are mind flowingly beautiful and we caught stunning views of Loch Morlich just before sunset.
We saw a hare yesterday, always something so special about seeing these magical creatures, and dreaming new dreams, dreams of returning again - the mountain bikes parks have been a hit, and the yoga is sensational. We’ve found our heaven on earth!
Happy Samhain to you all!
