Good Friday Yoga - Celebrating the Libra Blue Moon

Beinspired Yoga_ Flowers_22.JPG

Come and join me on Good Friday as we tap into the powerful waxing moon energy, as we prepare for the Libra Blue Moon on Saturday 31st March 2018.

A Blue Moon is defined as the second of two full moons to occur in one calendar month. January had two full moons and now March does, too.

Two Blue Moons in one year seem to belie the famous statement: "Once in a Blue Moon". Yet it is indeed quite rare to have two Blue Moons in a single calendar year - it last happened in 1999 and won't happen again until 2037.

This second full moon, may feel more more intense than the first, and may bring up issues that need to be cleared and resolved. It is going to focus our attention towards our partnerships and relationships in life, and there may be some new developments or insights in these areas.

I've a sense that we'll be craving a slow flow, deep stretch and introspective class, but this will undoubtedly become clearer nearer the time. Either way we will move the body with awareness on the breath and energies of alignment, incorporating some moments of  stillness and finishing with a relaxation to further ground, enliven, centre and bring all parts of us together.
