The blackberries are here!
It seems a touch early to me, to be picking blackberries, but alas, they are out and the ones on the hedges near me, and down Saints Valley are juice and tasty.
The elderberries won’t be long either.
The seasons are shifting. Either that, or El Nino is making its presence known.
The astrologers are super excited too, about the current rare celestial event called “Barbault’s Basket”. This extraordinary configuration occurs when the four outer planets - Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Aries, Uranus in Gemini, and Jupiter in Leo—all align at 4° to form a cradle spanning half the sky, which astrologers track for major collective shifts.
Furthermore, the Sun is shifting into Leo, with a focus on fame, glamour, and bold self-expression.
With much relief Mercury ends its retrograde on July 23, bringing an end - hopefully - to communication issues.
I’m also aware that Jupiter in Leo is aligning with Uranus in Gemini, providing an ‘electric spark’ for individuality, sudden epiphanies, and fresh perspectives. Phew!
What I have noticed since the last full moon on 30 June, is the deeper healing in my clients. For those courageous enough to go there, the current energy has been bringing deep emotional healing, releasing some of my clients from long held chronic pain, and helping them see and break free of their own limited and negative way of thinking.
I have seen these patterns emerge in my own healing too - and we are face to face with the manner in which we create our own suffering, through our internal narrative and our high expectations a nd lack of compassion/tolerance for self, let alone our inability to simply accept things as they are without making them right/wrong, good/bad etc.
I suppose what i am saying is it very clear to me and my clients that when we hold onto past trauma, when we repress emotions, when we relate to ourselves poorly, then we suffer. The energies currently are helping to release that suffering. But of course we have to do the work. But with compassion. More on this another time.
It is all too easy to overlook the many gifts and blessings in our lives and our own gifts too. Lack of confidence has been showing up too, the manner in which this gets in the way of us offering more of our true selves to the world, for fear of how we are received, or fear of rejection or abandonment, or whatever our story is.
And the other theme - death. It feels like the year of death. Lots of souls checking out, especially in the last month, I was told a care homer locally lost seven elderly patients in the course of a few weeks and many pets have been passing on, their contract completed, opening hearts in the process.
Anyway, happy blackberry picking and enjoying this glorious summer and all that YOU are.
