This is one of the greatest gifts you can give your child, not least a Reiki session to clear energy blocks and restore wholeness, but to attune them to the Reiki energy so that they can give Reiki to themselves and realise that they are more than just a body and a mind - that they have a delightful soul too.
A children’s Reiki treatment lasts 30 minutes and costs £35.
Young people under the age of 16 must obtain the written consent of their parent or guardian to attend any Beinspired Activities. The young person and their parent or guardian have full responsibility for judging the suitability of any Beinspired Activities.

It is at the discretion of the parent or guardian of the young person whether to be present with the young person at Beinspired Activities, depending on the needs of the young person regarding security, comfort and privacy.

Emma is also available to clear geopathic stress and balance detrimental energies in the home, garden and environment using Reiki and various other tools and aids. This helps to return the life force to the space and to those who live within it. The hourly rate for this work is £80. Emma and her 10 year old son, Elijah, love cats and they love giving Reiki to cats. Both are Reiki attuned (Emma is a Reiki Master Teacher and Elijah is a Level Two practitioner) with lots of experience of giving Reiki to their own Bengal cat, Bazza, and to other family and friend’s cats. What is Reiki?
The word ‘Reiki’, which is Japanese and pronounced ‘ray-key’, means ‘universal life force energy’. Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this energy, which flows through all living things and is vital to well-being. Known as ‘ki’ in Japan, ‘chi’ in China and ‘prana’ in India, Acupuncture, T’ai chi and Yoga are also based on the free-flow of this energy in a person.
Ki energy can be activated for the purpose of healing. When we feel healthy and full of enthusiasm, the flow of ki energy in our body is high and free. Life feels easier to deal with and we have a higher resistance to illness and disease.
However, when our ki energy is low, because maybe we are under stress or feeling unhappy and tired, we will be more susceptible to disease and sickness, our attitude will be generally negative and we will find it difficult to deal with life’s challenges.

Reiki can be likened to a free flowing river. This river is like energy flowing easily down throughthe body. Occasionally a pebble or a rock may fall into that river making the flow of water a little more difficult.
These pebbles can be compared to human emotions such as worry, fear and anger, with each pebble building one on top of the other. Soon there is only a trickle of water running in that once free-flowing river and at this point physical pain may also be experienced.
By receiving Reiki more energy is offered to the body. This extra energy is like a flood that washes down through our rivers removing and dissolving obstacles in its way.

Reiki helps us to get to the root cause of loss of wellness, rather than merely focusing on the symptoms, and induces a sense of deep relaxation in the process, promoting a calm, peaceful sense of well being on all levels.
It also balances the emotions and frees us from restrictive mental attitudes, behaviour patterns and addictions, improving our relationships (including with ourself) and helping to restore wholeness.
Reiki encourages and supports positive personal choices, such as improving diet, taking more exercise, devoting time for rest or leisure activities, and may reduce the need for alcohol and tobacco.
Engendering greater inner harmony and balance, regular Reiki treatments promote a calmer response to life’s challenges.

Reiki’s gentle energy is easily adapted to most medical conditions and may be used safely by people of all ages, including the newborn, pregnant mothers, children, surgical patients, the frail and the elderly, in any situation.

A Reiki treatment is non-diagnostic, non-interventionist, non-manipulative and no pressure is applied.
A Reiki treatment usually lasts sixty minutes and is carried out with the recipient lying in a comfortable and peaceful environment. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki energy passes easily through all materials, including plaster casts.
The practitioner places their hands gently on the body. The recipient automatically draws in only as much Reiki as is needed, using it in whatever way is most appropriate at the time.
Reiki may be experienced as a flow of energy, mild tingling, warmth, coolness, other sensations, or nothing at all. Reiki is deeply relaxing and has a profoundly calming effect.

Even one single Reiki session can make a difference; however a course of regular treatments may be more effective. These may be weekly, fortnightly or less often depending on the needs of the individual.
A treatment plan will be discussed with you, and reviewed as necessary. This will always be subject to your own preferences, and can be changed at any time according to progress.

A 60 minute Reiki session for adults costs £70 and includes an oracle card reading (optional) and Emma will also dowse you a Bach flower remedy to support your ongoing healing (optional).
Reiki for children and cats costs £35 for 30 minutes. Reiki to clear your house costs £80 per hour. Please see further details below.

Being complementary, Reiki works effectively alongside orthodox healthcare and natural remedies, expanding treatment options.
Reiki can enhance everyday living, and regular sessions may help to promote development of a healthier, more resourceful state of being.

Reiki Attunements
Anyone can learn Reiki! The ability is activated within you by a Reiki Master during an attunement process. No one regrets becoming attuned to Reiki - life changes in innumerable positive ways.
Reiki consists of four levels of training known as Reiki Level One (first degree), Reiki Level Two (second degree), Reiki Master practitioner (third degree A) and Reiki Master teacher (third degree B), all of which can be learned with Beinspired over a period of many months or years. We offer regular Reiki attunement day-courses as well as half-day Reiki Empowerments.

Emma also teaches one-to-one Reiki Master attunements (Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday mornings) and Children attunements by appointment.

No qualifications or experience is required for Reiki Level One.

Beinspired has an online Reiki Level One course so you can undertake your training from the comfort of you own home and at your own pace.
This course is offered through Udemy and includes videos, reading and activities. The actual attunement can be done in person for those in Guernsey (only takes 10 minutes) or can be done by distance is preferred.

For those who wish to learn three of the four Reiki symbols not least so they could go into private practice, joining the UK Reiki Federation and obtaining insurance, but so they can progress their own spiritual and personal development and ongoing healing.
The manual is circulated to you ahead of the session so the session itself can be more experiential and practice-orientated.
The attunement session includes:
• Self-enquiry; a journey through the chakras to see where we’re at in our life and in our relationship to our self
• Learning 3 of the 4 Reiki symbols
• Understanding how you might use these symbols in hands on healing as well as by distance and through time (past and present)
• Biodynamic and grounding practices
• Gentle yoga practice to move stagnant energy and prepare you for the attunement
• A guided chakra balancing relaxation incorporating chakra balancing crystals (your own or Emma can lend some to you)
• The attunement
• Sending Reiki back to your past and into your future, as well as sending Reiki to someone in need, before making your own Reiki Mandala which can be used for manifestation purposes. All of these exercises help you to learn and imbed the Reiki symbols.
• Learning about becoming a professional Reiki practitioner including obtaining insurance and joining the UK Reiki Federation
• Learning how to use a pendulum - there will be the opportunity to dowse your own Bach floral remedy and/or homeopathic remedy, use dowsing cards to see where you might be out of balance, and dowse your own chakras and others too if you choose
• Time is also set aside to consult oracle cards, have a flick through relevant books, just use whatever resources are available to know more of yourself and therefore support your personal and spiritual development
• Sharing Reiki with the other attendees and practising the symbols in hands on healing.
You must have completed Reiki Level One to undertake Level Two (with a minimum of 9 months between)

Reiki Master gifts us the Reiki Master symbol to heal the soul.
This level is viewed as a calling, when we are ready to truly find out who we are beyond the ego’s illusionary identification.
Requirements:
• A period of 12 months since completing the Reiki Level Two qualification
• A love and appreciation of Reiki
• Regularly practising Reiki on oneself and with an openness to share with others, whether that be family, friends, plants, pets etc, and/or in a professional capacity
• A clear intention to further one’s Reiki journey for one’s personal spiritual development, self-healing and to share with others where one can/feels called
• Comfortable sitting in silence by oneself and listening to one’s inner guidance
• Ongoing spiritual practice
ONE-TO-ONE ATTUNEMENTS
Master attunements can be conducted on a one-to one-basis with Emma in a dedicated healing space for 2-3 hours on a Wednesday/Thursday or Sunday. This session will include a chat about your experience of Reiki and any questions/sharings you may have regarding the Manual and your Reiki journey, passing of the Master symbol, and then the option to be guided through a combination of biodynamic exercises, gentle yoga to shift stagnant energy, a guided relaxation with Reiki and/or violet flame meditation prior to the attunement itself. You will receive a certificate and ongoing mentorship as required by the student.

Group sessions are held a Cobo Community Centre and the schedule will look a little like this but with flexibility depending on the needs of the students and the group:

Children love being able to channel Reiki to themselves, their pets and to other family members. Usually Emma will give Reiki to the child first, before attuning them at the end of the session. Therefore, please select “Children’s Reiki Treatment” here to book the session and send Emma an email to request a Reiki attunement as part of the session at emma@beinspiredby.co.uk.
Emma offers the session at £35 per child, which includes an information sheet, a certificate, the option to read an oracle card.

Becoming a Reiki Master is a calling and often seen as a natural progression for those who want to go on and teach Reiki. However, not all those who become a Reiki Master will also become teachers, because teaching is not something that can be learned, but is something inherent within us, a gift. When this natural gift aligns with Reiki, then we will have no choice but to teach it to others, and so we must, whether we ever thought we would or not!
Reiki has a habit of moving us onwards in our lives, so that we may take its energy further out into the world. The fact you are reading this implies that you have heeded the call and have been given the role of taking Reiki further out into the world. The world needs more Reiki practitioners, which means it also needs more Reiki teachers.
You will be provided with a copy of the Teacher’s Manual which includes information on becoming a Reiki Master Teacher, your journey as a Reiki Master Teacher, the Reiki attunement and running attunement sessions including preparation, setting the scene and suggested content for your manuals (these are not provided, you will need to produce your own as Emma also had to do, it is in this way that you learn more about Reiki and can tailor them depending on your personal preferences).
You will then meet with Emma and she will show you how to attune. A further attunement is not required.
Requirements:
• A period of 12 months since completing the Reiki Master qualification and fully integrating it into your life.
• Regularly practising Reiki on oneself and with an openness to share with others.
• A sincerity towards teaching and desire and intention to help others.
• Ongoing spiritual practice
Master teacher training will be conducted on a one-to one-basis. You will receive a manual, certificate and ongoing mentorship.
The session costs £350 and will take place at Emma’s dedicated healing space on a Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday.
