Stepping into our power on the moon

The lunar standstill has now passed for another 18.6 years and a new cycle begins - it was a rather remarkable southerly rising moon yesterday, incredibly clear here in Guernsey.

I have witnessed significant change over this last month or so of people stepping into their power and making choices which align with increased self-worth.

Many of my students have taken the plunge and set up their own businesses and others are in process. The moon has ushered in a wave of freedom and many of you have flowed with it. As always the changes had to be made on the inside first and it is this which takes the courage.

As Gandhi famously said, we have to be the change we wish to see in the world, and if that means a more loving and peaceful world then we have to make it so within ourselves. I am aware that often our greatest stumbling block is our conditioning and our limited view of seeing the world and ourselves within it.

While the breaking through the casing of our limited understanding can be painful, it offers us much freedom, not least in the insight we gain but in the manner in which we step into our power and open to our greater potential. Our creativity often flourishes too and in those moments I find myself not only inspired but full of ideas and a need to write.

I am grateful to the moon for setting us a little freer and am excited about the next step whatever that might be.

Here at Beinspired there are some small changes a foot; the Yoga immersion and teacher mentoring course begins in November and is currently fully booked. The Yoga Nidra Immersion course should be on the website soon and Grace is pulling together some dates for her next Yin offering. There are a few other ideas in mind which may or may not come to fruition, but regardless, we hope to get some recordings to you too soon.

In the interim, our general class schedule continues (apart from 8 August) and there are a few spaces in July’s Sunday intimate yoga sessions. Further, Grace and I continue offering Reiki treatments (and Ayurveda and Spiritual Life Coaching) from our respective healing spaces.

Other than that, it’s beach time, especially with this incredible weather.

Enjoy!

Happy full moon!
