In September 2017, we held a 7 Day Yoga Challenge. We have uploaded the videos here, so you can do this challenge any week you fancy, to experience the transformative effect of yoga for yourselves. Each day we focus on a different energy centre so that you can finish the seven days feeling energised, balanced, grounded, calm, peaceful and empowered.  All you’ve got to do is prioritise the time, get on your mat and press play.

Which video is best for me today?

General Practice: A general 41min yoga practice for any mood on any of the week. Suitable for all levels of ability.

Energising Practice: An eleven minute flowing practice to energise and transform you when you are feeling sluggish or uninspired. Suitable for all levels of ability.

Wake Up and Stretch: This 12 minute wake up yoga practice is designed to help you do exactly that – stretch out, get the energy moving, and prepare yourself mentally, physically and spiritually for the day ahead.

Wind Down for Bed: This 13 minute wind down for bed yoga practice is designed to help you do exactly that – stretch out, release tension from the day and prepare for a good night’s sleep.

Balancing Practice: Not too tight, not too loose, this is a practice to help you stay grounded and sane in the middle of all that is happening, so that you can find a way to dance with your world as it moves, and cultivate a sense of steadiness and equanimity.

Beginner's Yoga Practice: It’s often the case that you want to start practicing yoga but you don’t feel ready to join a general class as you’re worried you may be too inflexible or not have a clue what you’re doing. We’re hoping that this video makes yoga more accessible to you. Please don’t worry if you can’t touch your toes, nor could I initially, it takes practice and that’s what we do with yoga…we practice it!

Core Awakening Practice: A 35-min practice. The ancient scriptures say that our navel centre is the seat of transformation and our experience certainly validates this. So drop into this space, moving from it with a new found awareness that may just be a teensy weensy bit life changing, and it may strengthen your core too!
Not suitable for pregnant ladies.

Fertility Enhancing Practice: Whether you are trying to conceive naturally or through IVF, this practice may help with the the process. I practised it regularly during IVF (both ICSI and frozen embryo transfer) and I believe it helped to prepare me physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for bringing new life into this world.

Restorative Yoga Sequence: Sometimes in life we need to calm things right down and for me restorative yoga is invaluable for healing, nourishing and literally restoring when I am feeling run down, depleted, exhausted or in need of some nurturing time alone. This sequence will help to support the nervous system and immune system, quieten the mind, deeply relax the body, and it may help to ease anxiety, depression and stress as well as promote fertility.

Pre-natal Yoga Practice: Pregnancy can be a time of great excitement and change.  However not all changes are easy going and if you’re experiencing aches and pains related to your growing bump, or anxieties about the impending birth then this prenatal yoga video may well help.  Suitable for pregnant ladies with an existing yoga practice who are not experiencing any complications during their second and third trimesters. Also suitable for those ladies wishing to connect more fully to their womb and inner Goddess (or wanting to be bring pregnancy into their life) or just wanting a gentle flow!

Post-natal Yoga Practice: This is a practice that I’ve followed regularly since having my second son by Caesarean Section. I’ve found that the extended version, particularly, was extremely supportive to my healing and to this often exhausting post-natal period. Other times however, practicing Yoga Nidra was what was needed – please honour your bodies and go easy on yourself.

Knee-friendly Yoga Practice: Too often I hear people tell me that they can’t practice yoga as it hurts their knees.  So I’m really hoping that this video makes yoga accessible to those of you with knee issues.  However, it will of course depend upon the nature of your knee issue so please adjust and adapt as necessary.

Hip Workout Yoga Practice: Our pelvis is home to a lot of movement including digestion, reproduction, elimination, and walking.  So many back issues arise from tightness in the pelvis and hips.  This is also the area where we tend to sit on our emotions. Bringing greater freedom of movement and expression through this area of the body can only therefore be a good thing. Breathe and enjoy!

Yoni Yoga Practice (30 mins + 44 mins): Yoni yoga is a deliciously nourishing, empowering, nurturing and revitalising approach to yoga for women of all ages.  This transformative practice provides us with the opportunity to wake up to our own inner wisdom, feminine intuition, creativity and wellbeing. The practice is soft, flowing and gentle incorporating various tantrik yogic techniques to support women’s health, creativity, healing and natural cycles.
