Class updates!

Emma returns to teaching this weekend!

I'm back from my maternity leave this Sunday (22nd January) and am looking forward to start teaching classes again and seeing you all! Huge thanks to the girls for covering for me, you are ANGELS! x

NEW Yoni Yoga classes start on Sunday!

I am really excited to start teaching our women's only yoni yoga classes and the first one is this Sunday at St Martins Parish Hall.

Yoni yoga is a deliciously nourishing, empowering, nurturing and revitalising approach to yoga for women of all ages and stages of life whether maidens, mothers, enchantresses or crones! The practice provides us with the opportunity to move from contraction to expansion to help illuminate and wake up to our own inner wisdom, feminine intuition, creativity and wellbeing. The practice is soft, flowing and gentle incorporating various yogic techniques to support women’s health, healing and natural cycles.

I hope to see you there as we embrace our divine femininity! x

Class on Wednesday 25th January

I will be teaching a general class on Wednesday 25th January from 6.15pm - 7.45pm at St Peter's Community Hut, so please come along if you can! x

Drop-in class price increase to £11

Just a reminder that as of 1st January, cost of yoga classes has increased to £11 for adults. Classes are still £6 for students or usual voucher system applies (please ask us for details!).

Saturday classes

Many, many apologies to those of you who attempted to attend the Saturday morning class yesterday - unfortunately the yoga teacher who was covering the class for Vicki and I was unable to make it at the last minute and wasn't able to let anyone know - including me - in advance. I'm sorry you had to stand in the rain and had your plans for the morning thrown. Vicki is back next Saturday and the class continues as usual up to and including 10 December, after which class will stop for the Christmas period. xxx

Thursday 3 November 2016 - Eben update

Two weeks old today. After being told he wasn't putting on enough weight on Sunday we both went for it, him feeding and me expressing, and by yesterday he'd exceeded expectation and pulled out his nasal tube which Angel nurse Eileen took as a sign we were ready to room it together and establish exclusive breastfeeding ahead of anticipated discharge. So far so good...let's hope those scales agree! X

Happy Samhain and Eben update

Happy Samhain everyone, its the beginning of the Celtic New Year today, time for magic and planting seeds for the year ahead! This time last year I laid seeds for bringing new life into the world and that manifested on 20 October when Eben moon boy entered the world. He is now 11 days old and still in Neo Natal Intensive Care where he is progressing slowly -  sadly not putting on as much weight as the consultant would like. Mummy is back on her mat and taking dips in the sea when time permits - helps with grounding, healing and keeping spirits up as the days in the hospital are long, tiring and sapping of energy. Elijah and Daddy are both well and looking forward to Eben coming home, whenever that may be (hopefully by the end of November). x

NEW: SELF HELP FEATURE! AND COMPETITION....

It gives me great pleasure to finally introduce you to our new Self Help feature on this website. I’m a great believer in taking responsibility for our own health and well-being and helping ourselves where we can.  It is for this reason that we here at Beinspired have put together this Self Help page, which we hope may help you to help yourself. The fact you’re even here is already putting positive intentions out there.

Click here to take a look around!

To celebrate the launch of this page, we are giving away a set of Beinspired audios - perfect to give as Christmas presents (or for your own yoga practice!)

All you have to do is simply like and share this Facebook post to spread the word about the Self Help section. The winner will be selected at random and will receive a copy of:

Wake and Stretch CD,
Wind Down for Bed CD,
Grounding Flow Practice CD,
General Practice CD and
Yoga Nidra CD

(worth £50 in total!)

Good luck and enjoy using the Self Help page!

It's a boy!

Eben Ron McInnes (grounded warrior) arrived 6 weeks early and feet first (albeit C-sec and a positive and healing one at that, hoorah!!) at 12.21pm on Thursday 20 October 2016, weighing 5lbs and 1oz. He is in SCBU with an infection and may be there for a  few weeks, but is doing well, he's a determined little thing!

Elijah is absolutely delighted he has a little brother with whom to play - he knew all along it was a boy, they were "conceived" the same day albeit in a laboratory on a full moon back in February 2013 so I guess there must be a sixth sense!

Ewan and I are both thrilled to have our little moon boy safely Earthside, albeit much earlier than expected - at least now we can celebrate Daddy's big birthday at the end of November! It's been a surreal and yet magical and special few days with yet another sleepless night of dancing with the moon - we even saw a cross in the sky on our way to the hospital with moon and stars still shining brightly, but more of that experience another time!

"A star danced and under that you were born" (Shakespeare).
