The Autumnal Equinox is soon upon us, bringing a change in the earth’s energy as we transition into the darkness of the winter season. It’s a time for balancing, reconciling and celebrating opposites, seeing them as part of the whole – the active and the receptive, the inner world and the outer world, the light and the dark, the fortunes and misfortunes, the young self and the old self. Let’s celebrate it all, the good and the bad, as we also honour the changing season and the harvest it brings, appreciating all Mother Earth has provided since Spring.
We’ll follow nature’s lead, weaving together yoga movement, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation to encourage a retreating inwards, balancing and re-charging. Together we’ll slip out of time and dream a new dream for new beginnings ahead.
Please bring a mat, blanket and perhaps an autumnal offering (such as a leaf, acorn, conker etc)
All welcome, no need to book, £11 drop-in or usual voucher system applies.
Taking place at St Martin’s Community Centre (downstairs), 6.15-7.30pm.
