In the Indian tradition, what you do on the first day of the year sets the tone for the year ahead. So what better way to greet 2016 than by practising yoga? We will join together to offer our practice in gratitude with a very active and flowing class, surrendering what has been and gaining some clarity of what to bring in before embedding this with a yoga nidra (guided relaxation) and short meditation.
At the end of the class, you are invited to join Emma in a “New Year Ceremony” to cast a spell of luminous potency for 2016 as you write down your intention(s) for 2016 and seal this in an envelope which Emma will retain and send to you at the end of 2016 – there is power and magic in clear intention!
10-11.30am at St Martin’s Community Centre (downstairs), £10 drop-in or usual voucher system applies, all welcome. Please bring along a blanket.
