Emma's journey as a Yoga teacher began when she qualified as a Yoga Alliance registered teacher with the Integrated South Pacific Yoga Academy (INSPYA) in Byron Bay, Australia. Upon returning to Guernsey she founded BeInspired in order to share her knowledge and experience of yoga with the people of the island.
Emma's passion for healing led to her qualifying as a registered UK Reiki Federation Master Teacher, and gaining a diploma in Energy Healing. Emma has also qualified as a Children’s Yoga teacher with YogaBananas and a Pregnancy Yoga teacher with Vicky Olliver (both in the UK).
Sheila has been practicing yoga for over 30 years and was initially trained to teach Vinyasa Yoga by British Wheel of Yoga instructor, Wending Waring. She has since adopted more of the Kundalini tradition into her practice and has developed a strong interest in how linking the flow of breath and body uncovers deepening layers of self-awareness.
As a Reiki Master Practitioner, she also integrates knowledge from ancient systems of energy and healing body work into her understanding of yoga. Sheila holds graduate degrees in Zoology, Physiology and Biochemistry and is currently studying for a diploma in Holistic Medicine.
Sheila is also an art teacher and teaches art classes on Be inspired’s Yoga and Well being retreats.
Vicki started practicing yoga in Guernsey in the Channel Islands in 2003. Over the years she has developed a passion for the Ashtanga Yoga tradition and has attended many workshops and retreats both on and off the Island with a variety of inspiring and internationally recognised yoga teachers.
Vicki completed her 200 hour yoga alliance teaching training with Brian Cooper and Michael Gannon at Union Yoga in Edinburgh in 2009 and continues to attend workshops to develop her teaching skills.
Vicki runs weekly classes in Guernsey on an open and private basis which focus on the asanas in the Ashtanga primary series. She also works with Beinspired covering classes and assisting with workshops and retreats.
Vicki has also qualified as a registered UK Reiki Federation Practitioner.
Hayley’s journey of yoga has taken her through 20 years of practice with local teacher Judy Whitaker to attending many workshops and retreats worldwide. Hayley has also completed the BWY Foundation Course Level 1.
When covering classes for Judy Whitaker, Hayley uses a style of posture flow asana practice founded by Desikachar that works deeply with the breath bringing awareness to the pauses between breath and movement to find stillness and a deepening into the present moment.
As a qualified holistic massage therapist and reiki practitioner she is aware of the deep need for relaxation and stillness in this ever growing fast paced world.
